The latest Hwacinski is unleashed on the world! Welcome, little Hannah!
In Hannah's own words:
Hello, my name is Hannah Sophia Hwacinski. I just joined the team on the morning of Monday, February 23, 2009 at 12:05am. I am currently 21 inches long and weigh 7lbs 14oz, although I am growing all of the time. Previously I used to work in the womb where I was responsible for keeping my mom up at nights. I have a strong background in crying, sleeping and dirtying my diaper, which I am happy to bring to the team. My long term goals include walking, talking, and strong negotiation strategies. In my spare time I like dreaming of eating and being an actress, since I came in watching the Oscars on TV. Right now I share a work space with my Mom, Jaime. I am really excited to meet all of you, but it will take me some time to learn all of your names.

Hello, Jaime Hwacinski!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to decode the following.
((College graduation year - birth year)*100)-number of Facebook friends+3 consecutive vertical lines. Go to that location. Put on the articles of clothing you find there, take a picture of yourself where you end up, post it to your Facebook profile, and wait for a new blog post.
This message will NOT destruct in five seconds. Instead, we expect to keep it around a good long while!

Newspapers on your computer
I just caught this news report about how, very soon, you may be able to get your newspaper on your home computer through the phone! I'd heard about how some of the newspapers were having some financial trouble and now I know why. I mean, here I'm watching video reports on my home computer through the internet, and newspapers are just now figuring out how to use the phone?! Shocking. But here's the video report:
Revolutionary Housing Concept

I've heard through the grapevine (since "Us" magazine doesn't seem to know about it) that there's something going on called a "recession" which was caused by the "housing bubble." Many people are having to give up their homes! But not to worry, we have you covered here at Future Versions. The next big thing in housing will be small, environmentally friendly housing units that you build yourself, using reclaimed wood and other board-like products. It's like, totally green! And all you need is a piece of land and some friends, and you're in business. I hear in the US these are called "Hoovervilles" but I'll just call them the next big thing in affordable green housing!
The "Fax"

Wow. Now there's a machine that lets you send a document anywhere! I just got this new communication tool, called a "fax." I put the document in, dial a number of another "fax," and the document is instantly transmitted to the other side. My friend said he got the document all right, but if that's true, then why do I still have it? Someone's confused, and by God it's not me!
The East Germans do it again!

The brilliant engineers in the GDR (German Democratic Republic, aka "East Germany") have done it again! They've produced an economical, affordable car called the "Trabant" that can be purchased for only five years salary, can be worked on with simple hand tools and requires only small amounts of waste vegetable oil for lubrication! This fantastic car will make it totally worth waiting in those gas lines on your ration day! I expect these to be available for export soon - look out, Mercedes-Benz!
Phones - WITHOUT WIRES - are now available!

I just discovered the most amazing thing and it just kind of came out of nowhere! Phones that DON'T HAVE ANY WIRES are now available. Evidently they work via something called 'radio' and you can even be out in your backyard or even the street to use one! Since they don't have wires, I suppose you could even call them WIRELESS phones. Look for these in your neighborhood soon!
